Supply Chain Management der K+S Gruppe - Das Netzwerk bringt's
KTG and its subsidiaries form the operational backbone of K+S logistics and receive strategic
direction from a central functional unit within K+S Aktiengesellschaft. The functional unit guides
interaction between KTG and the logistics teams of the various business segments as well as
relations with external service providers. The synergies resulting from the interconnected K+S
business model are also an important element of the constant optimisation of our supply chain
management. As a result of these close links, costs can be reduced, efficiency and quality are
improved and the provision of services is possible in a very flexible form.

Close and long-term cooperation with shipping customers, shipowners and brokers, rail and road
haulage companies as well as warehousing and handling contractors are an integral part of our
supply chain.
This is supplemented by good cooperation with port authorities, piloting, mooring, and tug
services as well as providers of ships' supplies, associations and political bodies, to name but a
few.

However, the supply chain woud become rusty and brittle without the people at KTG. They are the
driving force behind our commercial success. The enthusiasm all of them take in their work and
their high degree of flexibility give also the basis for creating new jobs and for the training of
young people.
Shaping the supply chain in a way that is geared towards the future, using extensive experience
